Email Message Delay Notification - How to make them stop?
If you receive an email from roel.GWIA.GATEWAY stating that an email has been delayed then there are a few possible reasons.

1.  The recipient's email server is busy and our system is trying to reach them, this will usually be explained in the notice you receive from our email server.  The delay messages will usually stop after a few minutes once the email sends out.

2.  If you receive multiple "Message Status - Transfer Delayed" messages then sometimes you have an incorrect email address.  This too will also be noted in the message you receive from our server.  Below are some tips on what to do.

How to make it stop?
If you want the GATEWAY notice messages to stop then you need to go into your GroupWise Sent Items folder and delete the email with the bad address.  You may have an incorrect email address so it is failing.  The only way to stop it is by you deleting the sent item then our system will stop trying to send it out.

How to check the email address?
You can call the vendor or sub to make sure you have their correct email address.  Also make sure you typed it correctly.

Still can't get it to stop?
If you still have problems sending and the vendor tells you it is the correct email address then please forward on of the delayed messages so we can review it.  There are error codes and such in the delay message that help us diagnose the problem.  We can also look up info about their mail server to see how it is configure.  This is really Geek stuff and we do it when we need to.
